Welcome to the 1st edition of our series “Bookmark This”, where each team member will share their current favorites in lifestyle and leisure! 😄
But what exactly are we talking about? A bit of everything, really! From articles that made us laugh or reflect, to series, movies, and books we can’t put down, not to mention the restaurants that left us craving for more, the products on our wishlist, and the most addictive podcasts of the moment. In “Bookmark This”, we spill all the beans about what we’ve been saving, trying, and approving, and what deserves to be shared!
And to kick off this feature, today we bring you Rita’s favorites, co-founder of RIMA and creative director of our studio! Scroll down to discover what Rita has been exploring and loving lately! 😃

Rita's Favorites
You might already know that Rita is passionate about vintage pieces, but did you imagine she’s also addicted to true crime stories? Her favorites might surprise and intrigue you, but if they’re on this list, it’s because they’ve truly won her over – and they’ll probably captivate you too. Take note:
What I'm listening to
If you’re swapping your music playlists for true crime podcasts, then the Crime Junkie podcast is for you. In my opinion, it’s one of the best and I’m hooked! With a new episode released every Monday, Ashley Flowers tells stories of crimes that had me hooked from start to finish.
Local discovery
I love the space at 8marvila and the whole concept that mixes art, culture, and local commerce with a touch of nature. I particularly enjoy visiting when they have the mercado dos anjos 70, it’s great to check out cool second-hand stuff and discover new artists. It’s always a great time, and if you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend it 🥰
Must-read
The Machine for Making Spaniards is a profound reflection of Portuguese society, written with a blend of sadness, humor, and irony that only the brilliant Valter Hugo Mãe – one of my favorite authors – could achieve. The writing makes the book, and it makes us reflect on important themes, but in a light and fun way.
On my wishlist
I love Sézane and I’ve had these shoes saved for a while. I love the style and the color! Unfortunately, my size is sold out, so they’ve never made it past the wishlist 🥹
And I discovered these trousers and fell in love! The ruffle at the hem makes them elegant and original, and at the same time they seem practical, versatile, and comfortable.

A trip that I loved
I adore Banff in Canada! With its lush nature and landscapes that look like true oil paintings, it’s a destination that always inspires me and helps me escape the hustle and bustle of my days in Lisbon.
A must-watch
I loved the return of True Detective, with Jodie Foster! As for movies, I think 2023 was a good year for cinema, but without a doubt, Assassins of Flower Street and Poor Things are at the top of my current favorites. They’re two completely different stories, but beautiful and so important!

If you enjoyed Rita’s favorites, get ready, because soon the whole team will be here to share other must-have discoveries 🙂 And because we want to create a wave of fascinating recommendations, we invite you to share what has been brightening your days too!
