What I’m listening to

Recently, I’ve been listening to the new album that Taylor Swift released this year: “The Tortured Poets Department”. I love this album, especially because it was released as a double album, with a total of 31 songs. My favorites are “But Daddy, I Love Him” and “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me.” This album has been a true inspiration for me, and the depth of the lyrics and the musical variety are impressive.

To eat and cry out for more

As a celiac, I have some limitations when eating out, so my favorite restaurant is “Batardas”, located in Parede, where the menu is 100% gluten-free—perfect for those who have this intolerance. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is excellent! I highly recommend the Mediterranean pizza with prosciutto and figs, a delicious combination of flavors 😋 and for dessert, the brownie with a scoop of ice cream is absolutely divine!

Must-read

I love reading, especially fantasy books that transport us to completely different worlds. One of my favorite series, which I highly recommend, is “A Court of Thorns and Roses” by Sarah J. Maas. The series, which already has five published books, mixes mythology, romance, and adventure. It follows the protagonist Feyre Archeron, who is dragged into a faerie realm and faces various challenges while uncovering secrets and embarking on an exciting journey of self-discovery. If you enjoy immersive fantasy, this series is an excellent choice! ✨

On my wishlist

On my dream list, I have a vintage watch from Calypso Studios. This brand has beautiful pieces that capture the charm of vintage jewelry, something I love, especially because it reminds me of my grandmother’s collection. If you share this love for vintage jewelry and watches with a classic touch, it’s worth checking out their Instagram page: @calypsostudioss

A trip that I loved

A travel experience I’ll never forget was to China 🇨🇳 , where I spent two weeks exploring cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, and Nanjing. The highlight was, without a doubt, Beijing, where I had the unforgettable opportunity to climb the Great Wall of China and visit the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven—architectural and cultural marvels that can leave anyone speechless. The food was a unique experience; I tasted exotic delicacies like scorpion and fried snake, along with a wide variety of dumplings, each with unique and delicious flavors. 🥟 🍲

Local discovery

I enjoy making ceramics, but what I love most is painting pre-made pieces. I highly recommend the Pura Cerâmica in Lisbon, a studio where you can buy pre-made ceramics and then dive into painting them 🖌 It’s a great place to unleash your creativity and personalize unique pieces in a cozy and inspiring environment!

An extra tip

I love working out and trying new classes. That’s why I recommend the Amplify Studio, which has two locations in Lisbon, one at Marquês de Pombal and another at Santos. If you’re looking for a studio with dynamic and intense cycling classes, paired with an energetic playlist, this is the place to be! 🤩 With an immersive experience, it calls for an energetic workout in a vibrant and motivating environment. 🚲
