RIMA is a full-service interior design studio based in Lisbon, Portugal. that focuses on residential, office, and commercial design projects. Assisting clients with everything they need for their interiors: from rehabilitation to decoration, furniture design, styling, and more. Our diverse team has decades of experience in architecture, interior design, decoration, among other areas, and it is this know-how that allows us to offer a distinctive and personalised approach to each space and project. Since its establishment in 2018, RIMA has already designed dozens of offices and residences, as well as commercial spaces, and has experienced exponential growth, both in the scale of the projects it undertakes and in the innovative method it uses to bring them to life.
Meet Rita and Alice
RIMA was founded in 2018 by two visionary and entrepreneurial women - a mother and daughter who share a deep passion for interior design. Despite being a relatively young studio, their combined expertise is extensive. Alice, with over 30 years of experience, founded and managed a successful furniture company, bringing a wealth of know-how to RIMA. Rita, influenced by her mother's design background, initially pursued studies in Marketing. However, after gaining diverse professional experiences in Portugal and abroad, she decided to follow her true passion and obtained a degree in interior design. Her fresh and innovative perspective enriches the studio's projects. Today, RIMA is a diverse, skilled, and dedicated team that undertakes projects of all scales, both locally and internationally.
